Caffeine cut

I was a coffee addict. I could easily consume three, four, even five cups of coffee a day. The high I felt was incredible. The first thing I had to do after I woke up - even before brushing my teeth or using the loo was to get my coffee ready. And not ordinary cup would cut it. It had to be my grande sized Starbucks's coffee with undoubtedly the same brew.

Two weeks ago I woke up a little late and rushed to work. As soon as I get there, I generally head straight to the cafeteria but instead I went to my desk and started working. I felt energized and refreshed all day - without a single drop of caffeine! And I repeated this for five consecutive days - not missing coffee even once! How is it that I went from being a "I would give up food before I gave up coffee" girl to not finding the need to consume it multiple times a day? I have been thinking and then I read my sister's blog about the powers of water. I generally consume between 3 and 4 litres of water a day. I think that has done the trick. That has helped me kick the habit. Naturally. Without a fight.

So here is a H2Ode (without actually writing one) to the power of water!
